GUIDELINES FOR SCIENTIFIC PAPER/ E-POSTER PRESENTATION

Category: UG/PG/FACULTY

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Registration for the convention is mandatory.
  • Structured abstract should be submitted for both scientific papers and posters with a word limit of 200.
  • Abstracts and final presentations should be submitted online only through mail at pedkon2025@gmail.com.
  • Last date for abstract submission will be 15.08.2025, 5PM.
  • Each paper or poster will be allotted a unique code after acceptance of abstract.
  • Final presentations should be mailed to pedkon2025@gmail.com before 05.09.2025, 5PM.
  • All Presentations will be conducted online.
  • Ensure a stable internet connection, choose a quiet and well lit room .
  • The time and schedule of presentations will be intimated.
  • Only theme based papers and posters (Pulp/ Trauma, Psychology/ Behaviour and its management) will be considered in competitive category. However, Non Theme based presentations will also be accepted, but in Non competitive category.

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION

  • Papers can be of three categories (Original research/ Case report or Case Series/ Short study or KAP)
  • The duration for paper presentation will be 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes for discussion.
  • All paper presentations are to be prepared in power point version 2003 or higher.
  • First slide of the paper presentation should contain only the allotted Code with the title of presentation. (Any content disclosing the identity of the presenter will stand disqualified)
  • Presentations will be completed online prior to the convention and only the papers selected by the Chair will be presented at the convention venue.

GUIDELINES FOR E POSTER PRESENTATION

  • E-poster presentations will be for first year post graduate students and undergraduate students only.
  • The presentation should be prepared in power point version 2003 or higher with the poster Code (in a single slide in portrait format)
  • The presentations will be for a total duration of 5 minutes (3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion)
  • Presentation will be conducted online prior to the convention.
