Mar Baselios Dental College hosted the district level observation of World Health Day 2024 under the auspices of District Medical Office (Health), Ernakulam and National Health Mission (NHM), Ernakulam. The program was organized by the Block Community Health Centre (CHC), Varapetty. The official function started with a prayer song. Dr. Byju Paul Kurian, Principal, Mar Baselios Dental College welcomed the gathering. Dr.Anila Baby M, Block Medical Officer, Varapetty, presided over the function. Dr.Rohini C, District Program Manager, NHM Ernakulam, inaugurated the program. Dr. Resmi M S, RCH Officer, Ernakulam delivered the key-note address on this year’s theme ‘My Health My Right’. Dr. Sam Paul, Superintendent, Taluk Hospital, Kothamangalam, gave the World Health Day message. Felicitations were extended by Mr.Babu Kaippillil, Vice President, MBMM Association, Mr.Binoy Mannancheril, Secretary, MBMM Association, Dr Roy M.George, Treasurer, MBMM Association, Ms.Sreeja C M, District Education and Media Officer, Mr. Subeer P S, Technical Assistant, and Dr. Anoop Tulasi, Medical Officer, Family Health Centre, Kuttampuzha. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Bijumon V, Deputy District Education and Media Officer. The official function conclude with National Anthem following which various cultural activities were presented by the Health Department Staff, and students of Mar Baselios Nursing College and Mar Baselios Dental College.
