INTERDENTZ

Interdentz – is a three-day intercollegiate arts and sports fest conducted every year in which several contestants from across the State take part enthusiastically. The festivity creates a platform for showcasing innate talents and for manifesting real sportsman spirits.

Interdents 2022 was held at Mar Baselios Dental College from 3rd to 5th November 2022. This year saw the participation by a record number of dental colleges from the state. Labeled as “one of the best Interdents ever held” by participants from different colleges, this edition will remain sketched in the memories of a lot of dental students. 
As part of the Intellectuals held on Day 1, our college represented by Sanjay Mathew, Dr. Merina Mathew, Dr. Liviya Wilson and Dr. Eldho Varkey bagged the 1st place in the Quiz. Elizabeth Mareena, Tina Thomas, Anet Saju and Diya Aby won the 1st prize for Debate. Dr. Diana Jose, Dr. Sruthy Rajeev & Dr. Divya Alexander, Dr. Nimisha Das & Dr. Asha Mathew bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the E-Poster Presentation (PG) respectively. Dr. Ans Jettu and Dr. Manju S Nair came 1st for the Paper Presentation (UG). Dr. Blessenty Joy and Dr. Haritha Babu came 1st while Dr. Merina Eldho and Dr. Vineeth NH came 2nd for the Paper Presentation (PG). 
Sports was held over days 1, 2 and 3. Our college bagged the 1st place in the Women’s Badminton Team event beating Century DC. MBDC were the 1st Runners Up in the Men’s Badminton Team event, losing to Malabar DC in the finals. Our team bagged the 1st place in Football and retained their title as Defending Champions. MBDC also came 1st in Cricket, beating Sri Sankara DC in the finals.
On the final day, as a part of Arts events, Jerrome Sunny and Aleesha S bagged the 2nd place in Super Jodi. Teams from MBDC bagged the 2nd and 3rd places for Choreo Video and Group Dance respectively. Mar Baselios Dental College was also crowned the Overall Champions at the end of yet another successful Interdents.

College Fest play a significant role in shaping the career of a student. Students put in their best efforts to make the college fest entertaining and exciting. Interdentz 2019 conducted by MBDC on 7,8,9 of November 2019 was filled with sparkling colors. It was a platform for young brains to showcase their innovative ideas and compete with their peers. Interdentz helped the students to interact with the peers of various dental colleges and helped in healthy interactions.

The first for Super Jodi was bagged by Maria Philip and Saavan of 2018 batch. Our students also banged first prize in Group dance, Second prize in Choreo video & Third prize for One minute to fame.
Sandra Sakaria&Issac Alias bagged first prize in badminton. We also bagged first prize in Football against PSM Dental College, First prize in Basketball against Annoor Dental College & Second prize in cricket against Indira Gandhi Dental College. Eldhose Johnson won the best cricket player title while Alen Varghese won the best football player title.
