Convocations are held by the affiliating university during which the degree is formally conferred on the graduate. As a prelude to the University Convocation, the Graduation Ceremony is organized in the institution where the proud parents and teachers witness their prodigies evolve into worthy professionals for every graduating batch of students. From the first Graduation Ceremony in 2008, this event has earned a reputation for being one of the most well-organized functions. It has emerged as the flagship program in the annual calendar of Mar Baselios Dental College. The institution has placed the Graduation Ceremony at the highest pedestal among all events. The sanctity of the ceremony is upheld by the invaluable presence of luminaries as distinguished guests. Over the years, the Graduation podium of Mar Baselios Dental College has been blessed by eminent personalities like Padma Vibhushan E.Sreedharan, Padma Vibhushan Dr.M.S.Valiathan, Dr.V.P.Gangadharan, Fr.Davis Chiramel, and Dr.H.S.Adenwalla, to name a few. During this function, the coveted Best Outgoing Student of the College is also declared.
