A Grand Reception for His Beatitude Catholicos Aboon Mar Baselios Joseph Bava, organized by the Mar Baselios Medical Mission Association, was held at the Aboon Mar Baselios Thomas I Memorial Auditorium of Mar Baselios Dental College on 17.06.2025.
Sri. Salim Cherian, Secretary of MBMM association delivered the welcome address. The chief guest was Mr. R. Srikandan Nair, Managing Director of FLOWERS TV and Chief Editor of 24 NEWS Channel. Bishop Mar George Madathilkandathil, Bishop of the Eparchy of Kothamangalam, delivered the benediction sermon. Adv. Dean Kuriakose MP, Mr. Antony John MLA, Fr. Jose Mathew Thachetthukudy (Vicar Marthoma Cheriyapally), Mr. K.K. Tomy (Chairman, Kothamangalam Municipality), Mr. P.M. Majeed (President of Nellikkuzhi Grama Panchayat), and Dr. Byju Paul Kurian (Principal, Mar Baselios Dental College) delivered felicitations. Under the chief patronage of His Beatitude Bava, the foundation stone for the new hostel block of Mar Baselios Dental College was laid. Along with this, the newsletter outlining the college’s activities for the year 2025–2026 was released by Metropolitan Elias Mar Yulios. Additionally, the IMPLANTOLOGY FELLOWSHIP program was inaugurated by Mr. Antony John, MLA. MBMM Association Secretary Mr. Salim Cherian and Treasurer Mr. Bibin John jointly presented tokens of love to the distinguished guests. MBMM Association Vice President Mr. Shaji K.O. delivered the vote of thanks. Members of the Marthoma Cheriyapally Managing Committee, doctors, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students from various institutions under the MBMM Association participated in the event.
