I BDS INDUCTION PROGRAMS 2025

The induction and White Coat Ceremony of the 24th batch of BDS students at Mar Baselios Dental College, Kothamangalam, was held on October 23, 2025. H.G. Elias Mor Julius, Metropolitan of the Kothamangalam region of the Angamaly Diocese, presided over the function. The event was inaugurated by Dr. K. Ampady, I.I.S., Chief Executive Officer of Bionest under the Government of India.

Rev. Fr. Jose Mathew Thachetthukudy, Vicar of Kothamangalam Marthoma Cheriapally, delivered the benediction. Principal Dr. Byju Paul Kurian administered the oath. Changanassery MLA Shri Job Michil, MBMM Association Secretary Shri Salim Cherian, Vice President Shaji K.O., Treasurer Bibin John, Vice Principal Dr. Jayan Jacob Mathew, Chief Operations Officer Dr. Kemthose Paul, PTA Executive Member Shri Thankachan, College Union Chairman Majnas, Dr. Pramod Philip Mathews, and Ms. Sreenidhi Antharjanam addressed the gathering.

The newly admitted students were welcomed by faculty members from various departments, who presented them with doctor’s coats. Dr. Byju Paul Kurian, Principal of the college, who was recently selected as the Best Dental College Principal in India by Academic Insight magazine, was also honored during the ceremony.
