Dental anatomy & Oral histology – This department deals with the microscopic, macroscopic & morphological aspects of teeth and their associated structures, including tooth development. |
Oral Pathology – This department deals with the study and diagnosis of various diseases of the orofacial region, including ground sections, histo-pathological and immuno-histochemical methods. |
Community Dentistry – This department deals with the study of prevention of dental and oral diseases. It includes social outreachprograms, including patient education and motivation towards oral hygience |
Pedodontics – This is an age deined specialty that provides comprehensive preventive, therapeutic oral health care for infants, children through adolescence including those with special health care needs.

Prosthodontics – This department deals with the study of the replacement of missing tooth and associated structures by artifical substitutes.

Periodontics – The department deals with the study of supporting structures of the tooth and procedures to prevent loss of teeth.

Conservative & Endodontics – This department deals with the study of the restoration of tooth defects and caries and preservation of damaged teeth with root canal therapy. |
Oral & Maxillofacial surgery – This department deals aith the diagnosis and surgical management of maxillofacial trauma, infections, pathologies and cosmetics deformeties of face. It beidges the meical and dental specialties. |
Oral Medicine & Radiology – This department deals with the study of diagnostics of various diseas of the oral and facil region using clinical and radiographic methods. |
Orthodontics and Dentofacial – This department deals with the study and correction of teeth & jaw related abnormalities that mars the function and facil appearance, both in adults and in children. |
Every department is provided with well equipped laboratories, separate well stocked libraries, seminar rooms, and demonstration rooms.
